In
the paper “Weblogs for use with ESL classes,” Aaron Patric Campbell (2003) states that blog is well-known as an online
journal. People that using a blog can upload their ideas, opinion, and creation
in there. Then, they can create their own blog with customize the layout of
their blog. Making their blog more interesting using HTML or FTP. Also, the
ushers of blog are increase because of the relative quickness and ease
publishing this type of software affords. In addition, the tutor blog will give
some methods to the learner blog. The tutor gives the material to practice the
learner blog. For example, the tutor blog gives a material about science, and
then the learner will read or learn from the material. Then, the tutor blog
will share the link to help the learner to learn by self using weblog. Also,
the tutor will share their information about the syllabus. The tutor can do
online learning using weblog. The learner blog can learn how to write or read
by weblog from their tutor. Also, they can develop their writing, practice to
write, and also they will get experiences from writing in weblog. Using weblog
are easy to do. We can discuss with our friends, teachers, and also other
people from abroad. Because other people can see and give comments to your
blog. Also, we can learn other language from the weblog. We can develop our
skills and share knowledge together. There is one problem to consider is
whether or not installation is required. Also, the important issue is cost. If
you do not want advertise and commercial in your weblog. By using weblog, the
learner or the tutor can easily doing their learning process.
